Teachers at Mount Vernon ISD will return to their respective campuses on Monday, Aug. 15 to begin preparations for the upcoming school year. A week of professional development for staff members will begin Monday with a staff breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and a general assembly that will feature a welcome.
