Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

A kindergarten student who was left unattended on an MVISD bus Thursday, Aug. 25 was found unharmed. The student, who had been sitting with a sibling, had fallen asleep on the route bus. When the other students exited the bus at the elementary campus, she did not wake up. Approximately one hour later, she walked off the bus and a member of the MVISD maintenance staff found her.
