Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Faron Petty, a maintenance worker, has filed a wrongful termination suit against Mount Vernon ISD. The suit was filed in the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division and was assigned to Judge Leonard Davis.
The suit was filed by attorney John Henry Crouch, IV of the Kilgore & Kilgore law firm in Dallas and alleges that Mr. Petty’s termination was retaliation discrimination for making complaints about employment practices.
