Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Betsy Tovar and Harley Henry hustle to start the first grade girls portion of the first Turkey Trot event at Mount Vernon Elementary School. The event was conducted for all students in grades pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. The fastest boy and girl in each grade received a frozen turkey to take home for their families.
