Students at the intermediate school continue to work to earn money to buy trees for the Sports Complex. Purchased tree progress is shown with a paper tree in the hallway at the intermediate school. Each class is attempting to raise enough money to purchase a tree to be planted at the new complex in February. For more information, see the December 8 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
