Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Twelve sixth grade boys from Mount Vernon Intermediate School attended a Northeast Texas Community College baseball game on Wednesday, March 18 as members of the Communities in Schools mentor program. Will Ramsay, Joel Jackson, and Jack Pruitt were the adult mentors for the day along with CIS sponsor Amy Ford. Each boy attending the games received an autographed baseball from the players and were able to interact with them.
