Taylor Applegate, daughter of Jeffery and Marie Applegate, showed the Grand Champion Goat at the annual Mount Vernon / Saltillo FFA and 4-H Project Show on Saturday, March 28.
The Grand Champion Goat was shown as a part of the Mount Vernon 4-H. The goat was auctioned to A&A Masonry for $3,500. See the April 2 edition of the Optic-Herald for information on the other winners in the goat division.
