Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Bjarne Christensen, author of Farfar’s War (Grandfather’s War), brought the study of Nazi Germany to life for fourth grade students from area schools. The  program was presented in the Mount Vernon Independent School District’s Auditorium Friday, Oct. 26. More than 200 students from Mount Vernon Intermediate, Rivercrest, Winnsboro, and Winfield attended the program.
