Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Daurian Holmes hustles to collect his third turkey feather from Kristi Foster in the kindergarten boys portion of the second Turkey Trot event at Mount Vernon Elementary School. The event was conducted for all students in grades pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. The fastest boy and girl in each grade received a frozen turkey to take home for their families.
