Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Brandon Williams, an eight grade student at Mount Vernon Junior High School, is the school champion spelling bee winner for Franklin County. He is the son of Tonya Douglas of Mount Vernon and Dino Williams of Pablo West, Colo. He will now compete at the next level of the competition in the Dallas Regional Spelling Bee in March.
