Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Dr. Richard Gomez and Dr. Leo Gomez will be presenting a program for the Mount Vernon ISD board members, community and staff tonight, Thursday, Feb 21 at 6 p.m. in the High School Lecture Hall.   Their presentation will focus on the benefits of implementing dual language programs, specifically a two-way model, where English-dominant students and Spanish-dominant students are taught in the same setting.
