Elementary teacher Cindy Reed leans over to make it easier for Cruise Sharp to throw a whipped cream pie in her face. Students who raised over $15 had their names placed in a drawing for the honor. Students at Mount Vernon Elementary School raised $17,155 for the American Heart Association through their participation in Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Hearts.
