The Mount Vernon 10 and under Tigers softball team competed inthe Ark-La-Tex Longball Challenge Softball Tournament in Longview Saturday, Sept. 26 and finished in third place.
The Mount Vernon junior varsity Lady Tigers volleyball team defeated Chapel Hill in games on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Scores for the games were 18-25, 25-17, and 30-28.
