Anibal Hernandez, Mount Vernon High School’s left footed kicker, has worked hard to improve his kicking. He has made 18 of 20 attempts at extra point kicks for the Tigers since the beginning of play in August.

Mount Vernon 10 and under Tigers softball team third place
The Mount Vernon 10 and under Tigers softball team competed inthe Ark-La-Tex Longball Challenge Softball Tournament in Longview Saturday, Sept. 26 and finished in third place.
Junior varsity defeats Chapel Hill
The Mount Vernon junior varsity Lady Tigers volleyball team defeated Chapel Hill in games on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Scores for the games were 18-25, 25-17, and 30-28.
