The Mount Vernon Lady Tigers fell to the Brock Lady Eagles in a best two out of three series on Thursday through Saturday during the Regional Semi-Finals.

Dakota Fountain, a freshman at Texas A&M Commerce, will be competing in the Division II National Track and Field competition May 23 -25

The Mount Vernon Tiger baseball team defeated the Quitman Bulldogs in a best two-out-of-three series to claim the Area Title and advance to the Regional Quarter-Final game.

There was a send off “parade” last week when the Mount Vernon Tigers left for their baseball game on Friday afternoon.
