Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The Mount Pleasant-based Hurricanes 12 and Under fast pitch softball team will be hosts for its first annual Hurricanes Ragball Tournament June 13 at Heritage Park in Mount Pleasant. The select softball team is made up of girls from Mount Pleasant, Talco, Mount Vernon, Gilmer, Sulphur Springs and Omaha/Naples. The team is raising funds for its second trip to the Triple Crown Softball World Series in Park City, Utah. See the June 4 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
