Scotty Newsome was recently elected as the president of the Franklin County Baseball/Softball Association for the 2010 season. Mr. Newsome was elected after the by-laws for the league were reviewed and it was established that only head coaches for the league can vote for a presidential candidate. A board meeting will be conducted in the coming months for a discussion on a possible financial donation to the Franklin County Sports Complex. More information will be released as decisions are made.
