Two local and two out of town All-Star Tournaments are scheduled for Franklin County teams for the weekend of June 26-27. The Darlings will compete in their tournament beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 26 at Lindley Field against either Red River or Sulphur Springs.  The Belles will begin their tournament at 8 p.m. Friday, June 26 on Orr Field.  The Minors will play at 5 p.m. in Broken Bow, and the Majors will begin their tournament in Sulphur Springs on Friday, June 26.  Results of the tournaments will be published in next week’s edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald as submitted by the coaches.
