The Franklin County Ponytails All Star team is conducting a fund-raising event on Saturday, July 4 at the old Tire City building in Mount Vernon to earn money for their trip to the state tournament on July 10 in Liberty. The group is having a rummage sale that will begin at 8 a.m.  Anyone who has items to donate to the sale is encouraged to bring the items to the Tire City building on Saturday morning. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for someone to pick up items they would like to donate.Those who don’t have items to donate are asked to come and shop or to make a donation at the Guaranty Bond Bank in Mount Vernon. All proceeds from the event and donations will be used by the team to go to the tournament. Tickets will be available for $1 each for a chance to win a 5’x10’ flatbed trailer with a ramp.
