Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The young girls from Kid’s Under Construction spent Monday, July 6 learning the hard work that goes into being a Mount Vernon High School Tiger Cheerleader.  The group learned cheers, chants, and dances along side the cheerleaders during their summer practice.  The cheerleaders will conduct a mini-camp for all interested future cheerleaders in September.  Cheerleaders helping the students from KUC included varsity captains Chelsey Huizinga, Paige Hymer, and Abby Baze.  Other volunteers included Meghan White, Stacee Mardis, Macie Rains, and Katon Trantham.
