Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The Mount Vernon High School varsity cheerleaders attended the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Summer Camp at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio on July 21 to July 25.  The varsity squad received a number of blue ribbons and superior ratings. The varsity cheerleading squad members include seniors Paige Hymer, Chelsey Huizinga, Tricia Cox, Stacee Mardis, and Meghan White.  Junior squad members include Abby Baze, Macie Rains, Danelle Rutledge, Morgan Givney, and mascot Baily Hunnicutt.
