The Mount Vernon Junior High Lady Tiger basketball teams started their season on Monday, Nov. 9 with games against Mount Pleasant. All four of the Mount Vernon teams came home with victories. They will be hosts for the Mount Vernon Tournament on Thursday and Saturday, Nov. 12 and 14 in Tiger Gym. For scores from Monday nights games see the Nov. 12 edition of the Optic-Herald.
