Boys planning to play high school football at Mount Vernon ISD during the 2010 season will be issued and fitted for shoes, helmets and shoulder pads on Thursday, July 29 in the field house. Senior boys need to report for fittings from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Juniors will be fitted from 1:30 to 2 p.m., sophomores will be fitted from 2 to 2:30 p.m., and freshmen will be fitted from 2:30 to 3 p.m. See the July 22 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for times each grade level should report for fittings.
