Volleyball camp for girls in grades four through eight at Mount Vernon ISD is set to begin Monday, Aug. 9.
The camp will be conducted Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Aug. 9, 11, and 12  in the high school gym. The camp for fourth through sixth grade students will be from 8 to 10 a.m. and seventh and eighth grade students will learn from 9:30  a.m. to noon. The camp will help to enhance and improve the skills of passing, setting, hitting, serving, serve receive, digging, and blocking.
