In their final test before beginning their 2010 season, the Mount Vernon Tiger football team met the Pairiland Patriots for a scrimmage on Friday, Aug. 20 at Tiger Field. “I thought we looked real good. The team gave good effort and played hard,” Head Coach Karl Whitehurst said after the match. “We still have a few areas to work on.”
