The Mount Vernon Tiger football started their season off with a bang claiming a decisive win over the Rains Wildcats. The final score was 38-13 from the game played Friday, Aug. 27 at Don Meredith Stadium.
“We did what we were wanting to do,” Coach Karl Whitehurst said. “We won.”
