Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Nine members of the Mount Vernon Tiger football team were named to the All-District team for District 15AAA. Jay Jay Johnson  received honors as a second team running back. Colby Keener was named second team wide receiver.  Offensive honorable mention honors were awarded to Caleb Phillips, Tyler Foster, and Luke Kaufman as offensive linemen and Slade Rolf as tight end. Defensive honorable mention honors were awarded to Caleb Phillips as defensive lineman, David Sanchez and Zac Rolf as defensive linebackers, and Landon Price as defensive back.
