Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The Mount Vernon Tiger varsity basketball team competed in the Prairiland Tournament Dec. 2-4. The team faced Honey Grove in their first game and lost 43-54. They played North Hopkins in the second game and lost 44-59. Jerrid Wright scored the most points for the team during the event with 26.
