The opportunity for parents to sign-up their children to play summer baseball or softball for the Franklin County Baseball Association this year is Friday, Feb. 20 and Saturday, Feb. 21.
Sign-ups will be conducted from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 in the south lobby of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. They will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 in the foyer of the Mount Vernon ISD high school gym.
A coaches meeting will be conducted for all coaches for the summer league this year at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22 in the school cafeteria. Try-outs will begin Saturday, Feb. 28. A schedule of the dates will be posted in the next edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
