The Franklin County Belles softball team placed first in the Mount Pleasant Tournament Saturday, April 2.
The team faced Winnsboro in the first round of the event and won 6-2. They faced the Detroit Speed team in the second game and won 6-3.
They faced Winnsboro in the third game and won 12-5. They beat Detroit Speed 9-4 in the fourth game and again in the championship game 6-3.
