Mount Vernon ISD will be hosts for a Special Olympics event on Friday, April 15 at Tiger Field. The event will kick-off at 9:30 a.m. with a coaches meeting and events starting 9:45 a.m. The public is encouraged to attend the event to provide support for the competitors at the event.
