Cole Halter will compete at the State University Interscholastic League Golf Tournament at Roy Kiser Golf Club in Austin on Thursday, May 12-13.
He qualified for the event with a first place finish at the regional meet at the Tanglewood Resort on Lake Texoma. He shot a 73 on Monday and a 71 on Tuesday for a total score of 144. For more information, see the April 28 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
