The Mount Vernon Tiger golf team placed first at the Caddo Mills Invitational with a score of 322.
Members of the team and their individual scores are as follows: Cole Halter, 77; Michael Smith, 77; Christian Ladd, 79; and Colby Scott, 89. Other members of the team competing at the event were Ryan Fisk, 89; Jake Swavel, 106, and Zach Elkins, 119. Members of the varsity girls team competing at the event and their scores were Abbie Brock, 124 and Shelbie Stickels, 127.The teams will compete in the Richardson Invitational at the Fire Wheel Golf Course on Monday, March 16.
