Cole Halter finished 15th out of 48 competitors at the state University Interscholastic League Golf Tournament at Roy Kiser Golf Club in Austin on Friday, May 13.
He shot an 80 on the first day of the event, Thursday, May 12 and completed the tournament on Friday with a score of 74 for a total of 154.
He qualified for the state event with a first place finish at the regional meet at the Tanglewood Resort on Lake Texoma. He shot a 144 at the regional event.
