Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The East Texas Shockers 10 and under baseball team came home champions from the Second annual Toys for Tots Tournament sponsored by the Paris Breakfast Optimist Club in November. The team beat Commerce Random 22-0 and 27-0. They beat the Broken Bow Red Wings 8-5, and Paris Pride 4-2 and 8-0. The team has a fall record of 27-3. Six teams competed at the event.
