The Mount Vernon Junior High seventh grade Tiger football team ended their 2012 season with a perfect 8-0 record and was crowned district champions for the first time since 2005. The undefeated Tigers traveled to New Boston on Thursday, Nov. 8 to challenge the undefeated Lions. The game came down to the last few seconds as the Tigers beat the Lions 40-38.
