Relay for Life seeking additional teams

The Franklin County Relay for Life is seeking teams for the fourth annual American Cancer Society event to take place Friday, May 21 at Don Meredith Stadium at Mount Vernon ISD. See the March 18 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.

The City of Mount Vernon drew names to determine the candidates’ position on the ballot Wednesday, March 10 as they prepare for a May 8 election.
