Take action of the heart: give blood in February

February is known for Valentine’s Day and American Heart Month. Carter BloodCare encourages eligible blood donors to take an action of the heart and help others by giving blood.

Senior housing project tabled

Over 6,025 clients served in 2016

The Community Food Bank of Franklin County served 6,025 clients in 2016 with a total of  188,000 pounds of food distributed to 486 individuals helped monthly, plus another 192 Christmas baskets provided.
