An all Texas grown food demonstration, wines from 21 Texas wineries and more than 25 other arts, crafts and other food vendors headline the activities Friday night and Saturday at the fourth annual Wine in the Pines festivities.
The booths will be open from 5-9 p.m. Friday, October 25 and from 10 a.m. to about 5 p.m. Saturday, October 26. Christine Gardner will be cooking up wild caught Texas shrimp Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. For more details about the event, see the special section inside the October 24 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
