You can tell the serious birding enthusiasts by their equipment and when conversation is minimal in order to not distract from attracting or hearing the next feathered prey for their lenses.
Definitely fun for those who enjoy the out doors and seek an opportunity to be in some of the most pristine habitat remaining in the U.S. such as the Daphne Prairie in northeastern Franklin County. More than 50 different species of birds were identified and in many cases photographed at the prairie this past weekend during the Prairies and Pineywoods BirdFest.
