Two record restoration and preservation projects were approved at a combined cost of $26,085 by the Franklin County Commissioners Court at their Monday, October 28 meeting.
Both the county and district clerks submitted proposals. District Clerk Ellen Jaggers displays an old district court record book to be restored to members of the commissioner’s court. For details from the meeting, see the October 31 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
