High speed chase ends at sheriff office’s door

A.D. BellA 56-year-old Mount Vernon man faces multiple charges related to an incident that started Monday in Titus County and concluded at the front door to the Franklin County Law Enforcement Center.

A Department of Public Safety (DPS) trooper attempted to stop a 2014 Dodge pickup, driven by A.D. Bell, for speeding about 2 p.m. Monday, July 14. The suspect led officers on a chase into Mount Pleasant, back to I-30, through Winfield, and then into Mount Vernon.
