Kerry Johnson, with the firm of Fox, Byrd & Company, PC, reported that the Franklin County Water District had a “clean audit” for their 2016 fiscal year.
Mr. Johnson pointed out the largest loss for the district ($365,959) was primarily related to attorney fees, both those connected with regular operations and those related to the ongoing civil suit filed by the district to redress the failed attempt to prevent erosion on the back side of the dam on Lake Cypress Springs.
