Each member of the Franklin County Commissioners Court has their own idea of county finances. That was never more clear than during discussions at last Monday’s meeting. The possibility of borrowing up to $1 million at record low interest rates was discussed to be used to fund special projects which are facing the county over the next four to five years. See the Sept. 13 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details from the meeting.
