A special meeting has been called by the Franklin County Commissioners Court to set a new “guaranteed maximum price” for the latest work on the Franklin County Courthouse. The meeting is set for 3 p.m. Friday, May 31 in the East Courthouse Annex. The county is being forced to reassess the project after bids for the interior work on the courthouse came in more than $328,000 over the originally projected cost.
