PTO Fall Festival Saturday, October 26

The Mount Vernon ISD Fall Festival will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, October 26 in front of the elementary school. Plenty of parking will be available in the rear of the school.

Pink Out set for Friday

Pink Out the Meredith Stadium has been planned for the Mount Vernon Tigers versus Daingerfield football game on Friday, October 25. Game time will be at 7:30 p.m. Community members are urged to wear pink during the day on Friday and to the game that night.

Rotary Students of the month for October

Debate team honored by school board

Members of the high school debate teams were honored during the school board meeting on Monday night at the school.The Mount Vernon High School Debate Team received special recognition during the Mount Vernon ISD School Board meeting on Monday, October 14. Tiger Band performs at CountryFest

Mighty Tiger Marching BandMembers of the Mighty Tiger Marching Band performed on the CountryFest stage before traveling to Mount Pleasant and receiving straight ones at the Northeat Texas Marching Contest in Mount Pleasant.
