Books donated to Mount Vernon Elementary School library

Accepting the books for the library was Lori Barker, seated, Payton Ford, Caden Roger,  Amy Ford, and Kaci SumrowPeter Mayhew, best known for playing Chewbacca in the Star Wars franchise, recently donated copies of his books, Growing Up Giant and My Favorite Giant to the Mount Vernon Elementary School.

Six qualify for state in academics
