Destination Imagination team to perform at library

School board votes to conduct employee opinion survey

Members of the Mount Vernon School Board voted 5-1 to contract with the Texas Association of School Boards to conduct an employee opinion survey during May.

Walk and Talk bond meeting Monday

Mount Vernon ISD is opening its doors for a Walk and Talk presentation for the upcoming bond election on Monday, April 28 at 6 p.m. All interested parties should meet in front of the school’s auditorium.

One Act Play advances to Region

One Act Paly cast & crewThe Mount Vernon High School One Act Play has advanced to the Regional Competition set for Thursday, May 1  at Tyler Junior College. “We are one of 24 teams left competing this year,” OAP director Terry McGonagill said.
