The Mount Vernon High School One Act Play won the 2A State Competition Tuesday, May 20 in Austin. The performance earned the highest possible ranking of 1-1-1 from the judges.
Junior Grayson Pennington, portraying Archie Stern, the father and lead role in the play, was named Best Actor. He also received the Samuel French award, which is the highest achievable individual acting award anyone can attain at the UIL State level.
