Public Hearing Notice on the Draft Preliminary Recommendation regarding Resolution of the Interregional Conflict between the 2011 Region C and the Region D Regional Water Plans
The Texas Water Development Board will hold a public hearing on the draft preliminary recommendation regarding resolution of the interregional conflict between the 2011 Region C and the Region D Regional Water Plans. The hearing will begin at 2 p.m. on April 29, 2014, at the Mount Pleasant Civic Center.
The draft preliminary recommendation contains the Texas Water Development Board’s proposed recommendation to the Board members of the Texas Water Development Board to resolve the interregional conflict between the 2011 Region C and Region D regional water plans by instructing the Region C Regional Water Planning Group to readopt its current regional water plan with Marvin Nichols Reservoir as a recommended water management strategy and instructing the Region D Regional Water Planning Group to amend its plan to reflect that the conflict has been resolved. Interested persons are encouraged to attend the hearing and to present relevant and material comments concerning the draft preliminary recommendation. Any comments and supplemental information must be received by 5:00 p.m. central standard time, May 2, 2014, to be considered. It is not necessary to attend a public hearing in order for your comments to be considered; mailed or emailed comments will be considered equally.
