Public Notice - Titus County Water District 1 - 3/11/2012

THE TITUS COUNTY FRESH WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT NO. 1 ADOPTED AMENDMENTS TO ITS OFFICIAL MANUAL OF POLICIES, RULES, AND REGULATIONS WITH REGARD TO SHORELINE MANAGEMENT AND RESIDENTIAL WATER USE PERMITS AND ESTABLISHING DUE DATES AND LATE FEES FOR DELINQUENT ANNUAL FEES; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ANY CONFLICTING ORDER OR REGULATIONS PASSED BY THE TITUS COUNTY FRESH WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT NO. 1; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.

The Board of Directors of the Titus County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1, at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, February 20, 2012, adopted its amendments to the Official Manual of Policies, Rules and Regulations of the Titus County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1.

The adopted amendments require the issuance of a permit to remove water from Lake Bob Sandlin for residential purposes and levy a fee for such permit and sale of water.  

The adopted amendments also allow for the approval of a permit form for applicants to submit for  residential water use as well as prescribing the due date for permit fees, and adds a late fee to the Schedule of Fees.

The adopted amendments make the failure to comply with any of the amendments subject to penalties as authorized in the permit.  

The full text of the adopted amendments is on file at the principal office of the Titus County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1, located at 352 Fort Sherman Dam Road, Mount Pleasant, TX, where they may be read by an interested person.
